What is the impact of Brexit on orders shipped to the EU?

From 1st January 2021, with the UK no longer part of the European Union, sales to customers in EU countries are treated as exports and we will no longer collect VAT on your behalf.

Items sent from GB to the EU are subject to VAT and duties in the EU as follows:

  • Until 1 July 2021, goods with a value between 10 euro and 150 euro may be subject to import VAT and may incur a handling fee in the receiving country.
  • Orders sent to the EU with a value of over 150 euro may attract VAT, customs duties and a handling fee.

The amount of the VAT payable will depend on how CDs are classed for VAT in your country. The clearance fee rate will be set by the postal/courier company.

How much is the delivery charge and how long does it take?

Our postal charges are as follows:

We aim to ship orders within 2-3 days after receiving the order.

A tracking link will be sent for orders of over £50. Please check the tracking regularly and inform us if you have any issues with the delivery. Opera Rara can not be held responsible with any delivery issues relating to a tracked order.

What if I would like to refund or exchange a product I’ve purchased on your website?

Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any defective item:

  1. In exchange for an equivalent item.
  2. In exchange for an equivalently priced item.
  3. In exchange for a full credit refund.

What payment methods can I use to make a purchase?

Opera Rara accepts the following credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard and Amex.

  2. Payment by cheque (made payable to Opera Rara) or money order can be made on orders placed by post and telephone.

Please note that all prices are quoted in Pound Sterling. If you wish to place an order by telephone this can be done from Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 5:30pm.
