Join Opera Rara’s Artistic Director Carlo Rizzi and Chief Executive Henry Little for the charity’s 55th season launch. Opera Rara’s new season of live operatic archaeology will include the culmination of the multi-year Donizetti Song Project curated by Repertoire Consultant Roger Parker, and a major new studio opera recording and performance project featuring Artist Ambassador Ermonela Jaho. Germán Alcántara – star of Opera Rara’s latest release of the original 1857 version of Verdi’s Simon Boccanegra – will talk about Opera Rara’s Salon Series for emerging artists, and Dr. Flora Willson will tell us about the latest installment of Opera Rara’s Lives in Song Opera Insider series.
