Join us on Zoom for the launch of Opera Rara’s first two volumes of its Donizetti Songs collection. Opera Rara’s Artistic Director Carlo Rizzi is joined by baritone Nicola Alaimo and tenor Lawrence Brownlee as they share their recital albums featuring songs that have not been heard in nearly 200 years. The curator of the Donizetti Song Project and editor of the new critical edition of songs, Roger Parker, will give insights into this recently restored collection of previously unknown works by Donizetti.
