Opera Rara and Royal Welsh College invite you to explore undiscovered bel canto treasures from the Foyle Opera Rara Collection in a concert with mezzo-soprano Kezia Bienek and pianist James Southall. This lunchtime concert, curated and introduced by musicologist and bel canto specialist Roger Parker, features songs and operatic excerpts by Gaetano Donizetti and his contemporaries, mixing well-known examples of the mezzo-soprano repertoire with songs that have been hidden in the archives since their creation in the early 19th century.
