André Henriques

Bass-baritone André Henriques has a degree in Voice from the School of Music at the Conservatório Nacional (Portugal) where he studied with António Wagner Diniz. Receiving a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, he continued his studies in Opera Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where he studied with Donald Maxwell. Currently, he is a student of Lúcia Lemos.

Among the various projects in which he has featured, the highlight was the world premiere of Canção do Bandido by Nuno Côrte-Real and Pedro Mexia, directed by Ricardo Neves-Neves in a co-production between the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos and the Teatro da Trindade/Força de Produção, where he sang the role of Macaco. Other highlights include the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra conducted by Pedro Amaral; and the bass-baritone soloist in Haydn’s Die Schöpfung at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, conducted by Leonardo Garcia Alarcón.

Recently, he sang the bass in Miguel Azguime’s A Laugh to Cry in O’culto da Ajuda conducted by Pedro Neves; Bellini Belcanto in The Ring of the Unicorn, in a production by the Teatro do Eléctrico; Don Parmenione in L’occasione fa il ladro by Rossini at the Sintra Music Festival; and Don Alvaro in Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims at the Centro Cultural de Belém.

This is his debut with Opera Rara.

Lukasz Golinsli

Lukasz Golinski studied at the Music Academy in Gdansk and made his professional debut as Zbigniew in Moniuszko’s Haunted Manor with Baltic Opera Gdansk. He went on to join the ensemble of Nova Opera in Bydgoszcz. There his roles have included the title role of Falstaff, Tonio (Pagliacci), Marcello, Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), Count Peter Homonay (Der Zigeunerbaron), Freddy Eynsford-Hill (My Fair Lady), Baron Douphol (La traviata), Speaker of the Temple (Die Zauberflöte), and Janusz (Halka). Other appearances include the title role of Król Roger for Polish National Opera, the Orchestra Nazionale dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia under Pappano, Frankfurt Opera and Royal Swedish Opera, Wissmann/Innkeeper (The Fiery Angel) for Aix-en-Provence Festival, Escamillo (Carmen) for Teatr Wielki in Poznan and Selim (Il turco in Italia), Guglielmo Cecil (Maria Stuarda) and Janusz for Polish National Opera.

Golinski has won Best Male Voice and Best Male Supporting Actor for his interpretation of Marcello at the 2011 Bydgoski Opera Festival, and Best Polish Aria and Best Polish Male Singer at the 2013 International Stanislaw Moniuszko Vocal Competition in Warsaw.

Marco Vinco

Born in Verona in 1977, he started his technical-vocal study with Ivo Vinco and with Paola Molinari. After his debut in La Bohème (Colline) at the Teatro Politeama di Lecce, in 1999 he performed the role of Nettuno in Barcheggio by Stradella at the Festival Barocco di Fano under the baton of Alberto Zedda, the role of Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro in Trento and the role of Conte Rodolfo in La Sonnambula, conducted by Zedda. Marco Vinco’s 2002/3 season was marked by important debuts: in Il turco in Italia (Selim) at the Japan Opera Foundation in Tokyo, Maurizio Benini conducting, and in the role of Argante in Rinaldo at the Politeama Greco in Lecce, where he returned as Selim. On the concert side, he performed in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in Parma, under the baton of Gelmetti, in Siena and Rome, and in Mozart’s Requiem in Parma with the Fondazione Arturo Toscanini Orchestra. Opera Rara first worked with Marco at the Edinburgh International Festival when he sang the role of Polidoro in the concert performance of Rossini’s Zelmira and he also appears on Donizetti’s Pia de Tolomei.
